I’m so stressed out! This time of year is the best and the worst. It’s the best because the holidays and family time are just around the corner, but it’s the worst because of all the crazy homework, projects and finals!

I am a terrible test taker, and I rarely do well on finals. Luckily, most of mine are not worth so much that they’ll submarine my average, but it’s still no fun to prepare for them and worry about them.

And what is up with all the last minute papers?!!!! It’s crazy to assign a paper the week before the last week of school and expect it to be due on the Monday before finals! Some of these teachers are crazy~! :)

1. I would not open my destiny. I don’t believe in destiny, but I’m kinda superstitious and watch far too many horror films, and knowing your destiny is ALWAYS bad! I would probably end up trying to avoid my destiny if I knew it.

2. I was very upset when I read my destiny. Even though I don’t believe in destiny or fate, I must confess that I was bummed to discover my destiny was so bad. I really believe I have more in me than my card indicated, and yet, when I heard the other destinies, I realized mine definintely could have been worse.

My mandala was primarily in blue and the burnt red. The blue suggests peace or serenity which fits pretty well since I’m easy-going and like to have fun. The red suggests passion and energy which is kind of ironic since I’m laid back and don’t seem to have that much energy at all!

I had three circles in my mandala but they didn’t intersect. There was a large one in the center and two little ones on the sides. The number three is significant because of the trinity, which implies wholeness.

Overall, I enjoyed making my mandala. While I don’t have much talent in art, I found the sand fun to work with and not that hard to handle once I got going. My straw was a little messed up so I just poured the sand out of the bag. I hope that was okay.
